Compelling messages: I translate often complex vocational training information for the built environment into clear, compelling and accessible content that speaks directly to employers, learners, apprentices and different industry partners.
Multi media formats: I write all types of multi media content from brochures, conference materials and prospectuses, to digital guides, flyers and campaign copy. I also film and edit promotional videos, two of which are below. Beneath the images is more detail on this work.

Project brief: The aim of the above marketing collection was to promote a range of workforce development programmes in the built environment, sustainability, facilities management and green skills.
National publicity: I generated publicity in the Guardian newspaper, Daily Mirror (here) and the Belfast Telegraph, as well as coverage on BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme and Channel 4 News. The radio feature was a live interview with a chief executive whose company trained prisoners in cleaning skills and employed them on their release. This featured in a prime time slot at 8:30am on a Monday. The C4 news report involved securing special access for a TV crew to film inside the prison. All the above case studies were promoted on social media, websites and in external/internal newsletters.
Video filming and editing: To complement the written marketing assets, I filmed and edited two interviews with the UK Green Building Council and a Peabody housing officer (above). The first video looked at wider conversations around sustainable development, retrofitting skills and the future of the built environment. All the footage in the report I filmed myself in and around London. The second video of the housing officer aimed to capture the day-to-day realities of neighbourhood management and was part of a broader communications plan designed to showcase frontline housing services.
This selection of projects demonstrates my skills in combining marketing strategy, editorial storytelling and visual comms to create content that informs, engages and supports organisational objectives.
