Project brief: Tech company ClearRoute wanted to promote its work in closing the huge gender gap in the tech industry.

Interview and write up: I interviewed their MD about her journey to the top and wrote a first-person article in her name about measures ClearRoute had implemented to help women progress their careers. This was published on the charity One Loud Voice for Women’s website and promoted as part of Women in Tech Week.
Social media engagement: The charity wanted to feature women leaders in male dominated industries. It published the article and promoted it on social media in collaboration with Women in Tech Week 2025 under the theme ‘My Story’. It gained good awareness for all three organisations: the charity, ClearRoute and the event, which itself involved one of the largest UK-focused celebrations of women in technology.
Women in Tech Week: Events were also hosted across 20 UK cities, supported by over 50 partner organisations. It featured insights from the Lovelace Report, which highlighted that the tech industry is losing £2–3.5 billion annually due to poor retention of women.
