Reaching a diverse audience: I worked closely with the NHS GP Nurse Workforce Strategy Group to establish the overarching goal, which was to raise awareness of GP nursing as a viable and rewarding career to help plug recruitment shortages. We identified a diverse audience from school leavers and entry level staff, to NHS leaders and policymakers.
Overseeing 25 contributors: The project involved 25 authors from six different health bodies. I produced a template for each contributor and sent guidance on word count and timelines.
Writing for consistency: I wrote the foreword and introduction, and liaised with each author to ensure they stayed on-message and met deadlines. I eventually pulled all the strands together into one cohesive message.

“Jess managed to bring order out of chaos to deliver the essential narrative, focus and style we needed for our report. We were impressed with her skills and professionalism, how quickly she grasped the issues and her ability to turn the work around so fast to fit our timelines.”
